Halton Hawks FC Welcomes Coach Josh to the Coaching Staff
Halton Hawks FC is excited to welcome Coach Josh to our coaching staff! Despite being only 17, Coach Josh brings a wealth of experience as both a player and a mentor, making him an incredible asset to our goalkeeper development program.
Currently, Coach Josh plays as a goalkeeper for a League1 Ontario U20 Reserve Team, competing at a high level and refining his technical, tactical, and mental skills. His firsthand experience in elite competition has given him a deep understanding of the goalkeeper position, which he is eager to pass on to the next generation of athletes.
What sets Coach Josh apart is his ability to connect with young goalkeepers, helping them develop fundamental techniques such as positioning, shot-stopping, distribution, and decision-making under pressure. His patient and encouraging approach makes him an exceptional mentor, inspiring goalkeepers to grow in confidence and ability.
